Mussett Engineering Limited is a medium sized company based near Norwich who supplies machined components to the aerospace, automotive and oil / gas industries. Utilising the latest CNC machines, Mussett Engineering provide their clients with high accuracy machined components with consistent quality and reliable deliveries.
One of Mussetts regular clients, an international oil / gas services company wished to strengthen its supplier base and ensure lower cost, quality components for it's predicted future workload. To meet this need Mussett Engineering chose Silesia as an ideal place for a new facilities to provide their client the capacity to meet future workload and thereby also providing Mussett Engineer with increased flexibility and an effective low coast manufacturing base.
The key reason for choosing Silesia was the availability of skilled workers and experienced engineering staff. For Mussett Engineering accuracy, quality and reliable deliveries are an absolute requirement. Without a skilled and experienced work force it would be impossible to create a company that could compete in an international market.
Our company assisted Mussett Engineering in forming the strategy for the future development of the Polish subsidiary. The need to be in production within 12 months and including the possibility of expansion to cope with the 5 year business plan meant that it was necessary to rent an existing factory in the short term whilst planning for a new a facility for future expansion. Altea Management also assisted in the setting of a Polish Limited Liability company, a registered office and provision of company services.
Altea, with it's knowledge of the local real estate market plus an in depth understanding of both the engineering requirements of Mussett Engineering and the availability of skilled workers were able to recommend a short term location for the new company. In parallel Altea Management carried out negotiations with a number of Local City Authorities and the Special Economic Zone to find the optimal location for the new facility.
